In light of COVID-19 developments, Silicon Valley Accountants (SVA) is excited to offer a webinar discussion regarding our Crisis Agility Framework. Since COVID-19 impact has not come to full fruition there is still plenty of time for our teams to prepare. The preparedness topics we will discuss were cultivated with Accounting and Finance professionals proactively considering upcoming impacts. Our goal is to help those who join not only address and prepare for upcoming challenges but also emerge from this event with sustainable benefits.

Gabe founded Silicon Valley Accountants in 2008.  Gabe has been a Senior Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, an Assistant Controller at a public company, and a Director of Finance at a private Silicon Valley start-up. His time at PwC includes over ten years in their Audit and Advisory services managing SEC registrant audits, advising on M&A transactions, and helping clients achieve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

At Silicon Valley Accountants, Gabe primarily focuses on financial effectiveness; however, he also advises clients on financial reporting matters, assisting with mergers and integrations, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.

Gabe is a recognized expert in financial effectiveness and financial close optimization. He has spoken at The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Financial Executives International (FEI), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Ohio State Society of CPAs (OSCPA), and many other professional organizations.

Gabe teaches professional education courses on Mastering Audit Management, FASB updates, Revenue Recognition, Business Combinations, Software Revenue Recognition, COSO 2013 Framework, Leveraging Change to Create Process Improvement Opportunities, and Optimizing the Accounting Close and Financial Reporting.
