Course Description

The accounting profession is known for placing a high demand on a professional's energy and time. This experience is currently amplified and anxiety is running at an all-time high. We are being asked to work remotely and collaborate in new ways. We are being challenged in our relationships, either because we experience too much proximity or not nearly enough.

We may not have access to our normal self-care routines. Many of us lost the cadence that provided the necessary structure for our performance. Concurrently, the demands from our clients are at an all-time high as we are asked to lead clients through complex change. The combination of all of these factors has left many of us gasping for breath. This course provides a moment to pause, catch your breath and uncover practical strategies for reclaiming your energy and productivity.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore new frameworks around time and energy management

  • Examine your energy drains -- what activities produce low yields and should be shifted

  • Identify sources to recharge your energy -- what activities will increase your performance

  • Declare concrete action to take that empower you to perform more sustainably
