After transitioning from traditional, office-based operations to fully remote work over the past few months, many businesses will soon find themselves in yet another new state: hybrid collocated and distributed teams. Blending remote and in-person interactions poses a new set of challenges to technology, processes, and business structures, often requiring specifically adapted solutions. Information and guidance abound for remote collaboration and the physical safety aspects of returning to the office but thriving in a hybrid state require targeted planning. Join Sean McLean, Sarah Tetlow, and Belle Walker as they highlight the unique challenges posed by a hybrid model and offer insights into how companies can adapt to yet another "new normal".
Sean McLean has worked at Petrinovich Pugh & Company, LLP in San Jose, CA (the heart of Silicon Valley) for 20 years. After graduating from Santa Clara University in Management of Information Systems (and History) he wanted to work in the technology sector, but also leverage his desire to work in consulting and professional services. PPCO allowed him to do it all and help lead the Technical Consulting Department on client facing engagements as well as drive the internal IT projects as Technology Director. Sean is a proponent of innovation and emerging tech. He thrives in management of distributed teams, utilizing internal resources as well as external vendors to successfully complete projects.
