Joe Montana was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1979 and went on to lead the 49ers to victories in four Super Bowls (1982, 1985, 1989, 1990). He was named the Super Bowl’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

Montana ranks among football’s all-time leaders in passing yards (40,551) and touchdown passes (273). He was known for his ability to calmly bring his team to victory from the brink of defeat during the final moments of the game, earning himself the nickname “Joe Cool.”

After retiring, Montana, a best-selling author, father, and now grandfather, co-founded venture capital fund, Liquid2 Ventures which is a leading seed stage fund. He balances that with his robust portfolio of endorsement partners and speaking engagements.
