Lisa is the primary resource for Trust and Estate planning strategies for clients of The Flagler Group at Morgan Stanley. Her fascination with getting to know people, a penchant for planning and love of solving puzzles led her to become a Trust and Estate Attorney (non-practicing at Morgan Stanley) over 23 years ago. Lisa has never stopped working on what she believes to be the most important skill – listening. As a result, she spends time learning about each clients' passions, fears, dreams and principles and reflects these in their estate plans. By looking at all of the pieces together she is able to uncover opportunities to make the lives of each client easier and their legacies stronger.

Lisa returned to Morgan Stanley (and its predecessor firms) in 2020 having spent almost 10 years at Wells Fargo Private Bank, most recently as the Senior Director of Planning for the Southwest region where she led a team of wealth planning managers and trust and estate specialists whose credentials included JDs, CPAs and CFPs. During her initial tenure at Morgan Stanley, she consulted with Financial Advisors and their clients assessing their current estate planning strategies and presenting ideas as to how to improve them. Lisa has been a subject matter resource, having multiple articles published in academic and trade journals, being interviewed for a range of diverse media channels and conducting seminars on various estate planning topics.

Lisa was actively involved on advisory committees for her local hospital and school district while in New York. She has led Diversity and Inclusion councils and committees throughout her career. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Empowerment Network whose mission it is to empower girls by teaching them self-efficacy. She is passionate about this work having also previously established a group that supported women in achieving their financial goals, honoring their contributions to their communities and providing them with planning resources.

Lisa graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997 and obtained her Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2002. She was raised in New York City and moved from Westchester County, NY to Austin, TX in 2016 with her husband, Elwyn and daughters Bianca (“B”) and Aksiniya (“Sisi”). As avid Crossfitters, Lisa and her husband (who also owns a Crossfit gym) have instilled in their children the importance of physical fitness, resilience, and community, teaching them from an early age that whether you believe you can or you believe you can’t, you are right
