Melissa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and her MBA from Georgetown. She worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), in corporate finance at The Walt Disney Company, and merchandise finance at Euro Disney in Paris. After marrying her husband Philippe, Melissa moved back to the U.S. and worked as a strategy and business consultant before becoming a stay-at-home home mom to her four daughters. Soon, she rose to fame as the winner of “The Next Food Network Star” and became well-known for “Ten Dollar Dinners” – her Food Network show and New York Times best-selling cookbook. Other projects include: highly-acclaimed FoodNetwork.com series, “The Picky Eaters Project,” serving as a regular judge on Food Network’s “Guy's Grocery Games,” and her second cookbook, Supermarket Healthy, which debuted last year.
