Meredith Smith, SALT Tax Manager at TaxOps, combines technical knowledge with an in-depth industry understanding of state and local tax (SALT) issues to expertly manage the complicated web of tax laws governing SALT issues. She performs nexus studies, identifies risk areas, and designs sustainable planning opportunities to achieve tax-specific business goals. Her practice covers state income tax, property tax, sales and use tax, and business incentives and credits. Meredith received a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
