Course Description

You are evaluated by everything you do and say. This session will focus on what is ethical leadership and explore guiding principles that allow leaders to lead with a moral compass.

With ethical leadership, it is possible to bring the best out in others when we focus on positive intent and impact. Leading with the greater good in mind promotes a vision for the future for ethical change. Participants will not be challenged to think beyond the rules of professional conduct. Instead, the focus will dive deeper reflecting on personal, professional, and organizational applications based on guiding principles.

Learning Objectives

  • Define the three keys to building trust with employees

  • Identify seven ethical responsibilities

  • Give examples of how to apply ethical principles to concerns

  • Identify how to prepare a leader for feedback

  • Plan constructive actions to be a better example going forward
